DESCRIPTION:Countless Valley chefs want to share special dishes, but can’t because they fear they won’t find an audience. Republic and azcentral.com critic Dominic Armato wants to bring those chefs and that audience together.
\nThe Daring Dining dinner series gives talented chefs the opportunity to showcase the dishes they’ve always wanted to share with the public, but couldn’t due to practical reasons.
\nWednesday, June 1: The Chinese Neighbor
\nBob Tam, chef of Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour
\nTam will offer a four-course tasting menu that features his personal style of East/West cuisine, drawing from his Chinese heritage and European-style training.

\nCentury Egg Salad - "Big red" vinegar mayo, ginger, scallion, tobiko, grilled Noble bread
\nBlack Pepper Caramel Foie Gras - Bull's Blood, shrimp crackers
\nHot Lamb Dan Dan - Homeboy's hot sauce, Sichuan spice, cucumber, sprouts, wood ear, cilantro, egg noodle
\nDuck on Duck Action - Crisp H.K. duck, Chinese duck "prosciutto" rice, Macanese tomato sauce, sunny egg

\nWhat to Expect:
\nArmato will host the dinner at Bitter & Twisted.
\nArmato and Tam will participate in a Q&A about the dishes, their provenance and what makes them so distinct.
\nTickets include four courses, tax and tip. Alcoholic beverages are additional.
\nNo need to come early. Your ticket serves as your reservation. Food service will start at 7 p.m.
