Join azcentral.com, The Arizona Republic and the Morrison Institute for Public Policy at Arizona State University for a symposium on the facts behind the hype and the fright about Arizona's water future.

You'll have access to Valley’s leading water strategists and policy-makers as well as practical information about what individuals can do to prepare for our new water future.

The conference is a joint venture of The Arizona Republic and the Kyl Center for Water Policy, part of Arizona State University’s Morrison Institute.

Hear from:

* Brandon Loomis, Republic environmental resources reporter, as he explains what a year-long, grant-funded reporting project - "As the River Runs Dry" - has taught him about the present and future of the Colorado River.

* David Wallace, Republic visual journalist, as he shares video and photos from Peru, Bolivia, and the Rocky Mountains as part of the reporting of the "As the River Runs Dry" series.

* Tom Buschatzke, director of the Arizona Department of Water Resources, gives the unvarnished facts on Arizona’s water supply.
